What you get

Everything you need to learn from a text

Bring the Mandarin you actually care about. LottaLang turns it into vocabulary, explanations, practice and review.

Bring your own text

Paste any Mandarin text or import a subtitle file (.srt, .vtt, .ttml). Every word is tagged with its TOCFL and HSK level.

Every sentence, explained

Each line is split into words with pinyin or zhuyin and dictionary meanings, so you can read along instead of looking things up.

Flashcards that adapt

Keep the words you want. Spaced repetition brings each card back just before you would forget it.

Listen and shadow

A natural neural voice reads every line, and shadowing mode walks you through a dialogue one sentence at a time.

Taiwan first

Traditional characters, Taiwanese readings and zhuyin by default. Simplified characters and mainland readings work just as well.

Practice that sticks

Rebuild shuffled sentences, take quick quizzes, check your level and export your words to Pleco.

How it works

From a text to words you can use

Bring a text

Paste a dialogue or an article, or import the subtitles of the episode you are watching.

Study what matters

See which words you know, which are new and how hard the text is for you, then add the useful ones to your deck.

Review and speak

Short daily reviews, sentence games and shadowing turn new words into ones you can use.
